PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
DX Steel grit have sharp edges that help cleaning the surfaces easily . They are used for different applications : ship building ,pipe building ,steel construction, granite cutting , tank manufacturing etc.
DX Steel grit are very sucessful in abrasive blasting operations. Because a special heat treament is done for the steel grit to have uniform microstucture.
Types of DX steel grit :
GP (40-50HRC) : It's angular befor use ,but rapidly rounds off after operation. GP grit is particularly applied in descaling.
GL(54-61HRC) : It loses its sharp edges during shot blasting and is particularly applized in decaling and surface preparation .
GH(>61HRC): It has maximum hardness and always remains angular in its operation. GH angular griit should only be used in wheel machines where working requirements take precedence over cost price considerationss ,such as when a special finish is needed and with rolling mill cylinders.

Chemical Composition: C 0.80-1.2%, Si ≥0.4%, Mn 0.60-1.2%, S≤0.05%, P≤0.05%.
Hardness(±3HRC): HRC40-51, HRC47-56, HRC54-61, HRC61-65.
Description:
It's crushed from high quality steel shot. The resulting angular particles were screened to range sizes G10, G12, G14, G16, G18, G25, G40, G50, G80, G120 as described in SAE J444. According to different requirement, do the heat treatment to control hardness to standard GP, GL, GH.
