Radiant Safeware Pvt Ltd was established in 1996, Plassteze in 2006, and SXKH Automation in 2018. Before turning entrepreneur in 1996, Mr. Pankaj took his time being an employee and learning the tricks and trips of the trade. A Mechanical Engineer by education, he has grown his companies like a true professional with innovation being at the center of all the approaches they have brought about.

Determined to serve the global industry with means of polishing dies and moulds, innovation has been a continuous exercise. That said, by his own admission, if there is one aspect that takes them head and shoulder above the rest, it is service that goes beyond the conventional. In his own words “It is very easy to sell a product but it is very difficult to retain the customer. It is only the service that helps you retain the customer”. Using advanced technology in manufacturing, Plassteze and its related entities provide the best of products and services to over a thousand customers and over fifty resellers in India making them one of the leading tool room product suppliers in India. Year 2007 added another feather to their cap when they tied up with Best Diamond and Co Ltd, to market the latter’s high-quality machines and abrasives for mold polishing. Between 2008 and 2010, they partnered with Wellstone (Korea) and Starcke (Germany).

With Mr. Pankaj’s penchant to be at the top of the product range and technology, continuous updating is a given. That said, while they were into trading at one time, some time just before the pandemic, they also got into their own manufacture of machines and equipment. Had it not been for the pandemic, Mr Pankaj and his team would have been regulars at exhibitions selling all their products and services. Not being too late by his own admission, he intends to take forward his products to all the known exhibitions in India.

India is without a doubt a great market. That said, Mr Pankaj intends to reach out overseas which sees them export in small quantities as of now, a distinct possibility today with the new plant that has bigger space to cater to bigger ambitions. While selling of polishing materials and machines remain their mainstay, Mr Pankaj intends to go a step ahead and give customized polishing packages to customers who either aren’t confident enough or want specialized help with their dies and molds. This in itself goes to show the level of confidence their clients have in the company’s abilities.

Molds and dies being central to engines and to machines that bend and shape sheet-metal, close to 85% of their customers are automotive companies, be it Tier I or Tier II suppliers. These include among others, the Motherson group, Feroscia and Krishna Maruti. Where they truly excel is in the fact that their services increase the life and quality of their clients’ moulds, an item that by itself can make or break an automotive company.

While the pandemic adversely affected the fortunes of most automotive companies, Mr Pankaj and his enterprise hardly felt a dent. Except for a few months when sales went really low, the rest of their time was in fact spent with higher orders given that most automotive companies suddenly found time to polish, clean and maintain their dies and moulds for better times ahead.  For that matter, the only sad part that the gentleman ever encountered in business was that of not getting trained manpower who they could depend upon, and who on the other hand could help the group give sustained, good services to their clients at all times. This in fact, brought about bottlenecks in production and overall activities- and surprisingly NOT the pandemic.

Coming to their main supplies, these consist of mould polishes and related consumables that come under the head “Surface finishing supplies” to manufacturers regardless of industry, application, or material. In this arena, their volumes make them a leader in their category. Add to that their ability to offer technical support in the polishing process. They thus cover the customer from every end when it comes to mold polishing and related maintenance that increase productivity and efficiency.

On the subject of polishing services, the company has a full line of tools and machines to get the best surface finish across products. In 2014, Plassteze was appointed the Indian distributor of Urawa Corporation, Japan. That besides, they are also getting their own polishing products into the market. Going a step further, Mr. Pankaj is waiting to gauge their own system’s performance before taking a call on exports.

Beside representing Urawa Corporation, Japan, the Plassteze group deals with a wide range of standard die and mold components. They have joined hands with Ningbo Shun Xing Kai Haoin in 2016 for the newest innovation in Die Spotting Press, Hydraulic / Magnetic QMCs, Mold Flippers and Electro-Permanent magnetic chucks.

It’s one thing to supply essentials and quite another to be known for the same. Plassteze is today recognized as one of India's top mould supplying companies due to our ability to provide the right solution and provide prompt after-sales support. In order to serve customers in the most advanced way possible, they are known to introduce the newest products and innovations. Some like cameras and sensors to avoid accidents in the molds are trail-blazers in the industry that are also being exported outside India. The company also offers Ultrasonic mold cleaning systems that uses vibrations in the water mixed with cleaners and the Ultrasonic transducers to provide the ultimate in cleaning.

Their newest launch is the electric rotary grinder, a lightweight tool with different speed settings that’s economical and allows the customers to do grinding, deburring and polishing tools with one application. Another product offered by them is the SXKH Deep Hole Drilling Tool, a high-performance drilling tool that as the name suggests, helps drill deep holes with great accuracy due to a special shank with a V-shaped chip flute that draws away all the chips extracted by the drill head. Descaling machines are the other new addition that allow easy flushing of scale/rust and other deposits.

The crowning jewel of Plassteze came about in the year 2021 with the launch of their own ultrasonic polishing machine, the MONTOSONIC.

Plassteze, Radiant and SXKH Automation have been serving its customers with the best quality products. With continuous innovation in the field, Plassteze is dedicated to provide the latest solutions with advanced technology. With a team of experts and service providers, Plassteze has become one of the most important manufacturers of its products in the country. Mr. Pankaj’s Success Mantra thus is “Honesty with everyone. If you can be good to everyone, good things happen to you. Never take businesses for granted, always be honest and down to earth and the business will be there for the long run”.
